It is with pride and honor, yet with great humility that we welcome you to the Department of Public Works and Highways South Cotabato Sub-District Engineering Office website.

            More than anything else, the website is a manifestation of our commitment to public service, and public support to our national and local leaders’ desire to be more relevant and responsive to the times and the needs of all our constituencies.  You can glean on the succeeding pages the projects that we have implemented in our area of our jurisdiction, depict our little triumphs over adversities in our day-to-day performance of our mandated functions, the timely delivery of appropriate infrastructure projects, and the bright prospects ahead.

            For us, this is another stride towards our promise to provide you with better service, appropriate information and better interaction.

            To all the very special people who made possible our outstanding performance, we are eternally indebted to your unequivocal and wholehearted assistance to all our undertakings. 

            Grateful thanks goes to our Hon. Darlene Magnolia Antonino-Custodio, who personally lobbied with our national leaders and different agencies of our government just to provide our Office with appropriate funding for various infrastructure projects in the city.  To Hon. City Mayor Pedro B. Acharon, Jr., thanks to your full and open encouragement and inspiration.  I would, as well, wish to mention the unfailing support and assistance of barangay captains, purok presidents, and the end-users in all our undertakings.  To our partners in progress, the contractors, we fully acknowledge your cooperation and reliability in project implementation.

            We also wish to extend our gratitude to our Honorable Secretary Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., whose exemplary leadership, vision, and drive for excellence serve as our motivation to strive harder, and be better as professionals.  The same goes to our very supportive Regional Director Osop L. Ali for his guidance and judicious advice. 

            And finally, a multitude of thanks to my team, and to my DPWH General Santos City family for their support and cooperation, and being there all the time. It is indeed a worthwhile and fulfilling to be of service to the public.
